Got out on the river bout 0930 and fished till bout 1 PM without a bite. Cloudy and overcast.
Sun finally came out and they started to bite.
For the next 3 hours we landed 6 missed/lost 6. We kept our limit of 4. All were bout 23 to 24 inches.
Bout 4 1/2 to 5 pounds each. Really nice eatin size.
All in all a really nice day.
Good job Ben, hope they taste great.
Arms out he knows how to strike the pose.
Great job.

Nice fish.
He just didn't want to get fish slime all over himself.
Besides, that was nearly 20 pounds of fish he was tryin to hold up after a long day.
Had to stretch his arms apart so the fish didn't just bunch up on top of each other.
Nice fish. You’re persistence paid off

¡Nice, saw1! Glad for ya's! (Little extra protein in the diet never hurt anyone.)
Good job Guys, way to hang in there! Around here everybody says overcast skies are better, myself I prefer scattered clouds. Gotta have some sun beams.

Never a doubt Saw1, you are the Striper slayer.
Nice batch of fish. You should have used an empty beer can for size reference. 😂😂. We don’t know if that a 6” fillet knife or a 12”. Lol looks like a good day Saw. Thanks for the pics.
