I have a tracker classic and I put it in and out of water no problem.
I put rope on boat and tie it to bed of my truck. Easy way to launch.
I’m 83 and fish twice a week.

I use an AMP 12v 12amp hour battery for my Livescope, so Far I’m getting about 6 hrs of fishing time out of it.
I did same, on my first outing found big school of crappie, they were not biting at first but did in a few minutes.
I would have not stayed at this spot if not seeing them on Livescope.
Also Youtube has lots of great how to videos.

I would buy 1 or 2 of the basic lures
If bass fishing crank bait, spinner bait and swim bait.
If you don’t catch them on these keep
Trying, once these are mastered then start the experiment.
Good Luck
Go with someone who fishes often.
Watch and learn.
Find some feeder creeks for better
Oxygen, close to deep water even better
Spool tension helps prevent backlashing
On 90+ days I worm fish, dark colors
And Ned Rig seems to work in deep water.
Lighter the better 6 lb works great
You are near a Great Lake for Bass
Best suggestion is go with an experienced Bass Angler, watching them will put you years ahead of trial and error.
Try a Ned Rig Worm
When they are biting slow this works for me.
Note: When you think you are fishing it to slow , your still to fast.
Good Luck

Boat Docks,, Any standing trees in the water, brush piles.
