recently established my south carolina residency, though my boat is still registered and physically kept here in Va. Are there any issues here if i decide to drive up from SC and operate my boat without any hassles from DNR ? VA boat registration still valid though i have a SC driver license ? Not worth playing around with the man - DNR personnel, they don't mess around. They are thorough and don't expect them to cut you any slack if your in the wrong. Cover your six and be compliant with the regs. enjoy fishing
