Great info thanks all for your tips
No never really had an issue but to be honest my ff were not as good as some of the ones out there but I do have a newer one I will be adding this year and that could be an issue
So set each battery separate not in series
So I have a boat with a 2 stroke 9.9 outboard. I have a couple of fish finders and a trolling motor. I have 1 deep cycle marine battery. Thinking of adding second battery. Anyone have thoughts on this or better ideas
I just got a garmin striker pro with lots of good features just haven't got to use it yet but from what I see it will be a good model
Thanks for advice. I'll be mounting mine on the transom since its the best one I have so maybe will not get all the interference. If I like the garmin types may upgrade to 7" down the road
How is the contour mapping and do you know if it loses the map when it is disconnected from the boat at the end of the day.
Got a new garmin striker plus 5cv from Santa (aka my wife) and can't wait to get it on the boat for spring. Anyone know much about them?
Love fishing erie too. Haven't been able to go the last two years but used to do a charter out of oak harbor. The first time someone told me to ask for the walleye cheeks, I thought they were messing with me. I love them. Just batter them up and fry them. Good eats for sure.
My go to lake is clendening lake with is a 9.9 limited lake with lots of shorelines and will be using a boat
So looking for opinions on what lures work best for spring time bass in lakes and where to look. Really wanting to get heavy into fishing this year since will have more time to go.
