Caught our 2 man limit yesterday using Bandits. Perfect weather considering It's,
December, the lake was flat.

Welcome to the Stage Timex56. How deep were the eyes? Trolling? What speed? We fish out of Erie Pa. and not sure if same conditions here.

Welcome aboard Timex.
Glad the fish cooperated - one of my favorite fish to eat.

Ramped in at Huron, went out North around dumping ground 40' water. Picked up 2 there moved east towards CP into 42' water. We fished 4 lines at different depths, 45' - 65 ' behind boards.

Tip for the Erie fishermen , at the end of the day, check out the public fish cleaning tables around the lake . There will be many Walleye there that have been cleaned in the last 2 or 3 hours. If you relish Walleye cheeks bring your knife along. It seems no one using these facilities cheek out their fish . In the spring when the weather is cool the fish stay fresh for quite a while and on a good evening you can recover up to 17 - 18 lbs. of Walleye cheeks just working alone . It's a shame seeing that much good meat go to waste !

Striper cheeks are darn good as well but I’ve never found them around cleaning stations. Word is out around here.

Nice job on the walleye catch!👍
Things have been slow around Port Huron.
Think the fish blew over to Canada and they have us Americans blocked since March . Waiting for the wind to change before they plow the docks shut for winter.

Welcome aboard Timex! Great job on the 2 man ticket. I fish Erie as well. Typically run out of North East Marina or Walnut Creek.

I fished Lake Erie once...It was during the Mayfly hatch and we STILL managed to land a few...I'd like to wet a hook there again one day...Sis'
