When I was a child growing up in Northwest Arkansas we used to fish for carp using dough balls made from Wheaties cereal. Just mix up a bowl using a little water. Let them sit until the dry a little.
Wow! What a generous offer. Was stationed in Charleston in the 80's and spent many weekends fishing the upper Cooper River to include Lake Moultrie and Marion. Currently live in Tennessee. Use live shrimp and fish them on the bottom
As an avid off shore fisherman I would definitely suggest you seize the moment. You never know what you're going to feel in. Leave the adult beverages alone until you're sure you're not prone to sea sickness. Enjoy!
