Do you guys have any thoughts on that matter? I'm going to look at both new and used. I'm going to make sure that it is not underpowered and that it doesn't cost too much. Well, I know that it is going to cost too much. Do you guys have any other red flags to look for? I figured I might as well get one, I'm not getting any younger, and Marion can't get into or out of a boat, and she likes to go to the River.

I like Crest Pontoons the best for many reasons.

They have become such a killer of fisheries here in northern lake Michigan that the tribal gill netting has become affected to the point of the tribes looking to eradicated this federally protected satan sent flying demon.

Ditto from Lake Ontario. 20 years ago the smallmouth fishing was fabulous, now I don't waste my time

I fish mainly for bass and pike with jointed rapalas but twice had a gar hit my lure and boated him. It was sure a surprise to me. I catch and release.

Has anyone fished Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs Ark? Does anyone know where I can get a map of the Lake?

BA, I'm moving to Knoxville next month and may need some tips from a local.

So, I had a day to remember also. Over 300 smallies in four hours, 3 rods casting rapalas. That day, two of my daughters and my brother (he actually did a little professional fishing) left our boathouse on the salmon river (east end of lake Ontario) and traveled one mile to the Selkirk Park jetty. Fished in 10' water and every cast produced a smallie. As soon as the rapala hit the water another strike. My one daughter actually pulled in 2 on one cast.

It appeared every bass on Lake Ontario was concentrated in a 800 square foot area!! What a treat. My youngest daughter at the age of 10 stopped fishing on her 75th catch (she caught the least). My brother was releasing fish after fish while fighting a "big one". That fish was the only we kept as it was worn out upon boating and we could not revive. 20 1/2", the largest of the day. Fish mainly were between 13" and 19". A day to remember. Unfortunately we had to leave after 4 hours as my daughters had a commitment. Went back two days later and they were gone.

Now moving to Knoxville for the mountains and lakes. Can't wait

After fishing for over 50 years in WI and PA finally moved to TN. Can not wait to get started.

Tom, I'm doing the same thing. Moving from NY to Powell TN in April. Looking forward to the fishing, weather and beautiful scenery. Been fishing the Salmon River (Pulaski NY) and Lake Ontario for 30 years.

Hi Yankee fan, I'm also from so Jersey. Where are you? Wish I had a dollar for every hour I fished. Owned a boat business for 12 years and Alumacraft is a good choice. I read the other posts which were very well documented.

I'm moving next Spring and one of the reasons I chose Knoxvillki NY?e is their abundant lakes for fishing. Been fishing the Salmon River (Pulaski NY) and Lake Ontario for 28 years.

Anyone familiar with Pulaski NY?
