The guy told the warden that he had thought he was a turkey, and that is how he got his fine, hunting turkeys out of season. In another state, a bow hunter shot a squirrel hunting, crossing a log, while wearing a yellow rain jacket. The man said he never felt the arrow, just felt a sting and reached to scratch, and the arrow was still in him. My friend, and neighbor, that I went to school with, even dated his sister, got shot. He now lives in Arkansas, and has sold many things he designed. He and his son was hunting for hogs, and his own son shot him. Seems he was following a blood trail, that went into some brush, his son saw the movement and shot him. The doctors said he would never walk again, but he proved them wrong.
