Hi everyone, I ride horses, sometimes in local state forests with lakes, and we fish, along with my standard poodle trailing along. Yes, a standard poodle. Who hunts and loves the water. I fish mostly the southern part of NJ and in the pine barrens. Catfish at night with bobbers and glow sticks. Fish for sunnies during the day and sometimes am lucky enough to get a largemouth, or a pickerel. I am learning about salt water fishing from your forum and find it really interesting and fun. Thank you!

Very attentive dog, and I can tell it knows about being quiet and still. I dont know where or when i saw this video of some good old boys and their hounds were catching catfish in a river. When the guys boated a fish, itr would be flopping in the bottom of the boat and their hounds were on top of that catfish as if it were a rabbit or a coon. I mean it was a real battle and all the braking and carrying on, was a sight. Worth watching. Just Sayin...RJS
