Sorry I missed your post J 🙏Great description of your day out ! Great looking Walleye ,, Beautiful photos my Friend !🤙👍

Nothing to be sorry about Bob! Real life is much more important than my post. Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to get back out there soon. The near short bite only has a few more weeks then most the fish will move out deeper.

Yes there is crappie fishing in Ohio. Where are you at? Bank or Boat? Need a little more info than that to be helpful.

Lol, That I do know.

When I was in Hawaii for my Honeymoon we went on a charter boat. Trolled out then bottom fished. A guy on the boat tried to lip a puffer. It bit the end of his finger off. No bone damage but all the meat!

I got a Bauer one with the dust collection.. I figured if I burn it up, Ill just take it back and get another one. So far its working great!!

Those Baur tools aren’t bad at all. I’ve got a few. The mini jack hammer has been a life saver more than once and holding up well. The warranty is great as long as you use it. As a matter of fact I have an electric log splitter from Harbor Freight I need to return. Blew out the seals using it on big wood. They will give me a new one no questions asked. Can’t beat that!!

Way back when, my MIL had some Amish from the (I think) Sugar Creek community do her kitchen and family room. I watched two of them argue fir 20 minutes over 1/16th of an inch on a beam. The workmanship was amazing.

Now a days unfortunately even Amish workmanship isn’t what it once was. Many of them are into production not so much quality. But there are still some that are amazing craftsman. I know a timber frame crew that is just like your talking. Everything they do is 100% perfection.

Plenty of lakes around us with nice shore access, I prefer to throw lines from the bridge at Walbourne Res. We have a bunch of lakes within 30 minutes from Canton. Atwood, Guilford, Deer Creek, Walbourne, West Branch, Berlin, Lake Milton. There are more but these we visit throughout the year.

How you been buddy? Ever get that boat going? I still feel bad you got ripped off.

J, that’s one fish I never sought after but if I’m up north, I’m going to try after them.

They are great eating just like crappie!! If you ever do make it up my way look me up. I’ll do my best to help you find some! Just remember you can’t lip these toothy critters! Those teeth are razor sharp!!

Good luck J, I hope you saved your penny's buddy🤪. A buddy had this local cabinet maker do his and man is it beautiful. I know some of their family and they are good people and hard workers. You might check them out.

I had my own cabinet shop from 2008-2017. Very hard to compete price wise with all the Chinese made crap. Lost my big contract building cabinets for schools when they switched to ikea type garbage they could get from China cheaper. Decided to go back to building and remodeling after that because the profit margins were much better. I do miss working in the wood shop every day!!!

I’ll definitely give your guys a call. Like to support the little guy. Especially a family operation.👍🏻

Using the good old hand held.. there's only one rental place near me that has a walk behind, and they are well aware and charge accordingly!

Ya I’ve only used the walk behind on big commercial jobs where I could pass that cost along easily. I’ve got a nice Rigid hand held with the dust collection system. It gets er done. But it’s much harder work.

Hey J. If you're looking at cabinets fir the kitchen, be sure to checkout out the Amish community. They workmanship is amazing, and they can be less expensive than premade.

Plan on it Jimmy. I’ve done about 100 kitchens in my career and have a few places to look that I’ll get well made stuff for the price of the big box crapp that’s out there. A lot of Amish phone numbers in my phone.😂🤣😂. Funny but true!!

Good morning Looney Toons!

It's awful soggy out there... we have an all day rain today. I got up with the intention of going to a local lake today, but the weather just looks YUCK! Its 59° now and raining with an expected high of.. yep 59° and more rain... Tomorrow's forecast looks a tiny bit better. I guess I'll see...

Sooo.. I'll probably just stay home and work inside the house. I had a diamond grinder arrive to dress some high spots in the concrete floor. I'll probably work with that today so we can get closer to installing the flooring.

Why is Dad's Hair White?

Kid: Why is some of your hair white dad?

Dad: Every time you make me unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.

Kid: Now I understand why grandpa’s hair is all white!

Have a great day folks!
Good morning Looney Toons! br br It's awful sogg... (show quote)

Are you using a walk behind or a hand held grinder type unit? The walk behind ones make the job way easier but I always use my hand held because I’m cheap!

It’s Saturday so it’s soccer day around here. Sons game first then daughters. After that the wife and I are going to look at cabinets. Kitchen remodel coming thiis summer.

Have a great day!!!😄🎣🎣😎
