Glad you like them. They are actually sunrise pics. On lake at 5:45 am.stayed until 7pm. I figure the hour drive to lake and gas motivates me to get the most bang for my buck.

What a blessed day my friend and I shared on good old Kentucky lake. Launched at 5:45 am. Skyline was breathtaking. I think this is the best time to capture that moment. Just seems magical to me. Dusk is another that I soak in to reflect the the day I just experienced. Heading out to a crappie spot I noticed the skipjack chasing shad, birds singing and the stillness of the water. Upon arriving we were greeted by fellow fishermen from Nashville freely offering us valuable fishing information to fill the bounty. That was really appreciated because it payed off. We moved to various spots and before the day ended came back to the same area we first dropped a line. Not one trip goes by that I don’t learn things of the lake. Spider rigging was the tactic used to net some nice crappie. Hits we got were aggressive using small tube jigs and tuffies. Three crappie poles on each side keep us busy. Caught a bunch of shorts(fish under 10 inches). A lot were 9 and 3/4. That was crazy. What a good trip to satisfy that tugg addiction. Hope you fellows enjoy the post.

We stayed at grays camp. 40.00 per person a night. Barebones no cooking pans few plates and bowls. The boat stalls look like they are ready to come down. No doors on separate rooms in cabins. Small showers and not much in furniture except comfortable beds. Like I say bare minimum.

Really, going to be some good eating. They are vacuumed packed in freezer. Saw a neat device this trip. Fisherman had a device called catch counter on his ice chest. Actually a plastic chute mounted on top of ice chest . Every time he caught a fish he would drop thru chute a keep count of fish in chest.

Thanks, imagine cleaning a bucket full of these. Good fighting fish on a twelve foot crappie rod.

Just finished a three days fishing bonanza on reelfoot. Second time down and feels like we are figuring this beautiful body of water out. Caught fish everyday and weather held out. Cleaned fish everyday and actually caught more than we really wanted to clean. Brought home approximately 5 pounds of fillets. Highlight was when my partner had to do his business and accidentally somersaulted off the backend of the John boat into the lillypads. Only lost his dignity. The bluegill were huge. Photo of the size we were catching. Caught two three pounds channel catfish on a twelve foot crappie pole. Had line broke on something I never seen. Bald eagles were seen everyday. Good trip.
