Hello Lisa,
I live not far from Canonsburg Lake and know it fairly well. If you go to the Lake from Route 19, turn opposite Donaldson Crossroads Shopping Center. You will see Anthony’s Pizza restaurant on the lower side. Go down the hill next to the restaurant a couple hundred yards and there is a parking area. There is a Port-a-potty in that parking area. The Lake is also accessible for disabled right next to the parking area. Give it a try. Trout, bluegill, carp and maybe catfish should be targeted. Not much else there. Good luck.

A buddy and I were there last Friday (Mar 18). We went to the spillway and the causeway with no luck on eyes. My buddy did catch a 30” musky. His first musky ever! C&R obviously but he had a good battle to talk about. The am was beautiful but it got cloudy and windy and cold before we left. Still had a great day.

On Saturday (19) we went to the walleye school run by charter captains in Erie, Pa. Great event. I guess they have it every year. Learned a lot! If you are interested in going next year send me a pm and I will give you contact info.

Aruba fishing suggestions?

I have been there fishing a few times. Wahoo are most common target. You can expect an interesting boat ride. Aruba has a windward and a lee side. There is usually a 30 mph “breeze”. That breeze starts in Africa and ends in Aruba. Problem is the fish are on the windy side. You can expect 8-12’ seas. Fishable but pretty bumpy. Don’t go if you get seasick or take something for it. You troll for wahoo about 10-15 mph. One of the fastest fish in the ocean. They are fun to catch. Good luck!

Padre I think a retraction is in order for stating Biden was not honoring the fallen and meeting them when they came home. Preconceived beliefs about Biden? Biden also met with the families. Did your hero ever once meet with any family members after any tragedy? The ex-President never had empathy for anyone. All show and no heart!

Funny story about spam Bob. My dad was in the navy and served in the Pacific. When they shipped out to Pearl about 80% of the guys on board were seasick. Dad was not and loved spam. Did not have a problem finding extra helpings! I never understood why he liked it.

Cape May NJ help needed
Are there any FS’ers out there can offer any help with info about shore fishing at CM? We have been there before but have not had much luck. Anyone have some spots that work for them? Type of fish does not matter, we just enjoy catching.

Hook a musky on a kayak and it may give you a good ride. I think below lock 3 is where we have been fishing. We have been to that bait shop. We are targeting walleye without much success.
