No you are not doing it wrong. Even the Big Boy's use spinning gear. Use what work's for you and you are happy with. I use both and I love my spinning gear because it lets me get bait to places that I can not get with bait casters. Just have fun and catch a lot of fish.

Thank you all for your time and input. All these lures have a very hard top coat and I have fished them all and caught a lot of Bass with them and still look like new.

Hi my name is Joe. L. I am a Bass fishing nut. I like being on the water fishing for bass. I all so paint Bass fishing lures. I got in to painting lures about a year ago and love it.
