I was fishing at my usual spot and there were GIGANTIC carp writing right at my feet but no matter what I dropped they wouldn’t bite! How do I get one, is there any lure they fancy?

What do they want? To taunt us, I think. I’ve seen the same thing - huge carp swimming by in droves, leaping out of the water, watching me change my bait ten times to try to catch them, laughing at me...

We use to camp on the river and there where big carp there when we would be making dinner would toss a line in with bread balled up on a treble hook maybe a little velveta cheese mixed in to keep the bread on the hook. Worked great....

Or you could use a bow and arrow, with the arrow attached by a stout line and shoot the carp and jus haul him ashore. Just Sayin....RJS
