Leaving for Rodman State Park Monday. I'll be back on the 25th. Going to Sebastion State Park on 9/4 ,be back on 9/15. I'll be home in Leesburg for a while after 9/15. Week of 8/27 - 9/2 is open so far.
I live at the Plantation at Leesburg.
We talked a little over a year ago but never met.

I'm going to be fishing on Lake Ocklawaha & Rodman Reservoir next week for Bass and Specks. Any suggerstions on bait and or lures to try for this time of the year. I'll be using my kayak and looking for good spots to fish from on the shore. Will appreciate any feed back. Thanks in advance.

2 weeks ago, I fished Dead River. Dead River feeds into Lake Griffin. Had 2 gators as big as my kayak leave the bank and swim towards me. They didn't bother me.
I bought a $99 kayak on line. Paid thru Paypal. Never received it. Company told Paypal it was delivered. They produced a shipping slip from UPS to another address in my town showing half the weight of a kayak. After many conversations with UPS and Paypal, Paypal issued my a credit for $99, SCAM
Looks like it might be a copperhead They are in that area but not usually i the water.

Hi, I live just south of Leesburg. I'm camping a little south around Sebring this week trying some of the lakes in this area. A friend of mine told me he caught 10 nice size bass under and around the bridge over little Lake Harris last week. Let us know if you have any luck. I'll be back fishing Lake Harris after Easter.
My wife caught a nice bass on it then proceeded to catch my finger. I have used it a couple times, but with no luck.

Hi Jbird, I live in the Plantation at Leesburg. I do a lot of camping and fishing at state parks. I'm going to Sebastian Inlet Park next Oct. Would like to know how you do there.
