Can someone identify this snake?
I tried to catch some catfish but had no luck.
The only thing of interest was this guy swimming by.

Beautiful pics and a pretty little snake. Kinda resembles a corn snake to me. At least what I think.
Not sure but looks like a common water snake.
Beautiful pics. Snake don’t know but there’s only 4 kinds I am afraid of. Dead ones, live ones, short ones and long ones. Gun ready and pray my legs give me the strength to run out of there leaving everything. To think jumping out of planes ok air assault ok but snakes no way

Snakes are really graceful, but some like the moccasin, is aggressive.

I think it's a water snake too.
Possibly a Coastal Plains or a different species of Milk Snake?
Northern water snake,not poisonous
no native or poisonous snakes in hawaii or ireland ireland also has no trees

Being that is in New Jersey I'm assuming I'd say it is a common watersnake

Northern water snake that looks to be recently molted, colors vary quite a bit depending on stage of molt. Non venomous but aggressive little little rascals.
Only good snake is a dead one. I do not like snakes
