I have a 20+ foot glass boat w/250 hp. It has bunks. I had a 16’ and it had rollers. I personally like the rollers much better once you know how to use them properly. Bunks are difficult at times when wind is an issue. On rollers You just have to be careful not to unlock the safety chain and winch too early or your boat may not make the water:)
Take your boat to Lake Mead, buddies fished for 4 hrs lat week and caught 24 nice stripers using live bait.
Yes, mine is exactly the same everything. Deployment and recovery doesn’t take anymore juice than keeping the prop turning underwater.
If you buy the metered gauge you’ll never have to worry. 😊
I have the same electric motor and use it on a 20’ glass boat. RJS has the math figure it out, but, I can use mine easily for 8+ hrs as long as I’m not pushing much wind and only have two men fishing. If it’s windy it will knock it down to 4-5 hrs. That’s why I use a battery life indicator gauge, not very expensive, easy to install and works great. Even has a app. you can download and check from your phone.
I’ve used them in the past, they work about as well as any others that cost under $10.00
I fish in freshwater and have had my Ulterra going on 3 yrs. Zero problems, works great! I use the Bluetooth remote and never had any issues.
Yes, caught on a Rippin Rap.
A couple good friends and fishing buddies caught these a couple months ago. The pike was 47 1/4” long, 19 3/4” girth and weighed 24+ pounds. The trout (fall spawning) was 6+ pounds. Both were released after pics, and both caught in NE Wyoming.
In my opinion, it makes the walleye taste even better. I always bleed walleye.
Mine is a 2014, thx for the info. I’ll give it a try.
Has anyone used the "Bubble" Purge product that is for purging air bubbles from your hydraulic steering system? I believe I have air in the system and want to take care of it w/o taking to a dealership.
Thanks!
Nice walleye eaters! I’m heading to Keyhole Res. in WY. in the morning. Hope I can do as well as you did!
Took my 8 and 10 yr old to a small “lake” in the city limits in the small town we live in. Both had a great time and always enjoy going fishing there. This time we caught a few small, small mouth bass, a plenty of bullheads. But, the 8 yr old caught something that totally surprised all of us, a 20”, 2 lb. Tiger Muskie. Unfortunately he would hold or touch it. I was able to get a pic of it then released back into the water. A great day for all of us!!
In my opinion the best electric fillet knife by far is American Angler. More power than Rapala but you pay more for it. They last forever!
Don’t know any that do what you want. I know you need a transducer attached to the fish finder. All I’ve used and have seen need to be “learned” in order for the operator to use them to their max capability. If you find one let me know 😊
