We currently have a chev. traverse. It's too big for Marion to open or close the doors, get into or get out of, she picked it out but now she hates it. So, anyway, and anyhow, I'm thinking about getting a Honda CRV, a Toyota Rav4, or a Subaru Outback. Reg or Hybrid? Subaru doesn't make a Hybrid. Your thoughts on this matter, please.

I'm on my 3rd Outback - obviously I like the car; it's the most comfortable road car I've ever owned. Newest is a 2021 which replaced a rear end totaled 2018 (nobody hurt). 1st was a 2010. Never been stuck in any of them despite trying, great mileage, timing belt change req. at 105k, 2021 oil change interval of 6k using only synthetic oil, fuel fill is irritatingly on the right side, roomier than the other choices which I tried out before buying the 2010.

Check our the face book group VIRGINIA TIDAL FISHING REPORT. They cover the area broadly and someone on it, should you join, may well have exactly the information you're after. Best of luck, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!

The Rapidan, up in the mountains but not too far from Gordonsville, is pretty spectacular.

I have relatives too scared of burning a Roux that only use the jarred stuff. It's just oil and flour.

I use a 2 qt. Pyrex measuring cup. I also keep the cast iron skillet handy to pour it into to stop the roux from browning further - on a wooden cutting board. That stuff is waaay hotter than oven or stovetop!!

You *can* do it that way, but 15 min. +/- in the microwave stirring only once when it foams up at 3-4 min. is a whole lot quicker and easier. Or you can buy it pre-made in several shades of brown at Kroger or online even easier than that!!

Paypal has left me cold on two more than obvious scams by sellers. I don't use them any more.

I have an Old Towne twin heron tandem kayak. The hull is specially designed to work for either 1 or 2 passengers, and it does as long as both passengers know how to paddle ssynchronized.
You might check Sierra Trading Post for deals too!!
