We currently have a chev. traverse. It's too big for Marion to open or close the doors, get into or get out of, she picked it out but now she hates it. So, anyway, and anyhow, I'm thinking about getting a Honda CRV, a Toyota Rav4, or a Subaru Outback. Reg or Hybrid? Subaru doesn't make a Hybrid. Your thoughts on this matter, please.

My eldest son Gregg has a girlfriend that’s got a Rav 4 hybrid and absolutely loves it. Toyotas are pretty much bullet proof vehicles. I had a 96 Toyota T 100 that logged 264,000 miles without any problems. Needed only to change brakes, radiator and an alternator. Currently have a Tundra with 80,000 miles and have had 0 problems with the exception of filling the gas tank. Pretty much a gas 🐷.

Joining the Rav 4 group here fg. My wife didn't like anything until she test drove one and compared it to the Chevy version of a Rav.

2 selling points were it rode better and the best for her was when she got out of the car. Did not have to climb out, legs were at the level that was more comfortable on her back for getting in or out.

My Wife Ellen has a 2015 Honda CRV. It is a very dependable vehicle and easy to get in and out of. Heated leather seats are awesome in the Winter, too (just sayin’) 😉

Haven’t needed one yet, thanks! I know many diesel owners that have theirs, though.

We bought a new outback last year and the wife loves it. 33 mpg and it’s the right height to get in and out

I drive a Prius [hybrid] and love it. Hutch has a Honda CRV and I find it on the big side.

My best friend's wife is parapalegic and loves her Subaru Outback. Easy for her to enter and exit to her wheelchair. Car has 200k+ miles and NO issues.
