The fish in my Avatar is a very large Salmon. has my daughter's little foot in it to see the size. That Salmon was a buck (male) was 55" long and weighed a bunch. You can look up on charts to approximate the weight. It was excellent eating because it was a buck. Hens ( females ) lose their meat quality much more during the spawn than the bucks do.

There are sea run rainbows and brookies on the east coast, mostly northern and into Canada.

YUP. Two of S Mickey's fish are Salmon. Look different but may run up river together. The two largest are Salmon they have a darker skin and different jawline. Steelhead are a salmonoid but little different species of fish.

Elephants have memory that is better than many critters including humans. Scientists figured out that it is from the trees they eat. Pretty fascinating to say the least. The plant supplement is available for us at vitamin and drug stores. Memory is one of the first things to go away. I am blessed with a very good memory for wh**ever reason. Photographic and details are what I can never forget.

Ginko Biloba ( Elephant's FOOD ) is a great supplement for us modern monkeys with fading memory. I just responded but didn't spend a bunch of effort on scanning back in time on here to see what the actual statement was. I suppose I can but coffee and other things to get done are on the to do list.

You stated it. Just smoke another one before responding

Smoke what? A ham? A Turkey? A steak? A what? Yeah I know how to smoke good food. Just curious why you say things like that you think are true or wh**ever you think is entertaining to others in your bully roll but it is really lacking factual evidence and you should find a new prey. I have been very honest with you and would rather be a friend than an enemy. The ball is and has always been in your court. Don't ruin it.

3rd? Being as we are adults we should act as one. Yeah kids ended up with a DUNCE hat way back when but I am not the BOSS. Treat others better will always pay off.

About? A guess always means it could easily and probably is false. As RJS always says...just sayin.

YOU GUESS or you researched and found the facts? Just curious.

Not sure if it is an EDUCATED GUESS or just a root for the peanut gallery statement.

Free Entertainment is right here but let's be positive because life is good.

Who knows or cares hopefully crawled back under a rock and stays

Why would a guy like me exist like a COLD BLOODED REPTILE?

You really think I live under a rock? Guess I should of expected another negative false statement. Old cave dwellers must assume we all exist in one. Climb a rock well maybe I will watch but I will never be living in the dirt and rocks for a long while. Typical uneducated statement should of expected it. Hope all your Easter Eggs were crushed by the imaginary rock you dreamt I would ever exist under. Just returning the lack of respect you have always shown.

My largest fish was caught when I was 14 years old. My father and I were on the Columbia River at Bonneville dam here in Oregon and I was successful in landing a 5'7 white sturgeon. This was back in 1979 when the retention limits on sturgeon and the Columbia River were anything over 3 ft and under 6 ft

👍🏻👍🏻

I miss Sturgeon Fishing for sure. I always started January 1st in Columbia Gorge until Quota was reached in Bonneville Pool. Fished in Willamette and Columbia all over as well as after getting bored during Spring Chinook season with whichever boat I was using at the time. Went to Astoria quite often on 6th street pier.

Thanks. I am assuming you are talking about steamed blue crabs. Hear on the west coast, most people boil their crabs. I still prefer to steam, though I usually clean first. The Maryland seasonings don't seem to penetrate into dungeness like it does blue crab.
In Alaska, I am sure you had access to dungeness. Would you recommend just throwing the raw shell and innards into boiling water, or just steam and treat like blue crab. I usually steam precleaned crab halves, as it is so much faster and cleaner than boiling (6 minutes). I do miss the roe, but we can't keep females anyway. Thanks for your input.

Steam is best unless have FRESH seawater available. Steam doesn’t wash the salt out of the crab.

Never heard of that one, Mauwehu. However it reminded me of a bar trick I used to do for free drinks. I would take a raw egg and bet I could get it to stand on end after the other person failed to. I kept a small amount of salt in the palm of me left hand, I would pretend to blow on the large end of the egg and give it a quick lick. Then I would rub the end into the salt and finally stand the egg on the bar. Couldn't believe no one ever figured it out.

I have seen this done no moist finger just salt. Whatever works to save your money.

You forgot the SUPERGLUE.

No the eggs in shell smoke right through the porous shells. I have done it 3 times so far. None have lasted long enough to make egg salad or deviled eggs.

You hit the nail on the head. J’s head is really messed up due to how many gummies and drinks he has taken. You can tell just by the # of posts he makes 1 after another and make very little sense or have nothing to do with the theme of the thread.
It’s comical to read his posts, attempting to show his knowledge and just the opposite happens.
In his long posts he calls others names then condemns posts that call out his name calling. Once again very entertaining to once again show his butt!

Once again you’re making false statements. You have never met me and do not know me. I have asked and told you to stop. You even complained about being told to stop by someone else. Do you ever follow rules or learn from bad behavior?
