Just have to know time. It takes me about 45 min to get there but no big deal. I am waiting for my leach order to arrive. Do have bottom bouncers and crawlers. Also have a few hundred lures. What time do you like to Fish, what days?

Just sent you a pm - I think.

Just registered for the Forum, I'm in Castle Pines and a spin caster. I'd be happy to tag along Bunyan. My wife says I'm "pseudo retired" so most days are convenient.

Hi Dan,
I troll a lot. I also jig if I can find a good looking spot where I can anchor in 25' of water or less. I don't have spot lock so deeper water is a hassle to jig in. I have sonar so I can usually find where the fish are. I'd be pleased to welcome your aboard. Boulder's a bit of a trip to Chatfield for an early morning outing. Whadaya think?

I can post, I just can't upload anything. So I didn't feel right about putting my 2 cents in if I couldn't participate.

I've been on the Stage about 4 years. I don't contribute much because I've never been able to post any uploads. Worked with Admin a couple years ago over a period of many weeks to no avail. Tried all the things they suggested, but nothing worked. I'd like to get more involved. Specifically, I wouldn't mind finding somebody to fish with. I've got a nice little pontoon boat that I fish mostly Chatfield Reservoir. I take other road trips occasionally. I'm open to other suggestions. Anybody in the Denver area who is looking for a fishing partner is invited to respond.

Perfect Manhattan:
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth (use the good stuff - it's worth it)
1/2 oz. dry vermouth (ditto)
1 1/2 oz. good bourbon (Elija Craig, Bulliet, Four Roses (not Wellers or Makers Mark - too light)
Pour over ice, stir well, drain into cocktail (or any) glass. Add olives (because of the dry vermouth)
Most people who make Mahattans use bitters. I don't. I'll drink one - just don't bother to use it.

Maybe on the west end where the river comes in.

Sorry RJ, I was assuming a boat is involved. I've never found any good shore fishing at McConaughy. Good luck.

Been a few years for me, but I can't imagine a whole lot has changed except for a lot more water this year. Follow the seagulls for wiper. Most success for walleye is along the dam after dark, but it's a zoo. Follow the direction of the other boats. No obstacals other than the far west end where the river comes in and you wouldn't have any reason to be there anyway. Watch the southeast wind - it can get treacherous quite rapidly.
