That’s a great catch from the jetty. We went by boat and got thirty for my friend Don, his son Wyatt and me. Wyatt pulled up half our rings and he’s only nine.

My honey hole yielded ten Dungeness in one hour for five traps. Pretty foggy and real crowded. Even overflow parking was full at Bodega bay ramp

This certainly a lingcod not a cabazon. Don’t know why they have blue meat sometimes but they are able to change color like chameleons

Last week I lost a nice fighter bout ten miles from Bodega bay in thirty feet of water. Yesterday I returned and caught this 26 1/2# California halibut. Had a tough time getting it in the net as the drift rig weight got tangled. Cut off the weight and saved the day.
