Been waiting all year for it, tomorrow is the opener, loop/hoop style only, no traditional “traps” to start and recreational only. I’ll be at the boat at 6:30 am, got her gassed and loaded up and ready to go. It will be me, my boat co owner and my friend the (and my) GI doctor (that’s how you make sure you don’t code on the table, ask your doctor to go crabbing with you the following weekend 😂). It will be his first time out and I’m looking forward to taking him. I’m exited to see how the puller modification will work and if the ground up bait draws them in.

Going back to last years honey hole and hope they are there, otherwise we’ll be on the hunt!!

I will report back no matter how we do!!

Thanks Cathy, we go out the gate and turn right! Close to Stinson beach, but we have a few spots depending on what is where!

It has been a long off season. My poles are rigged, the snares have fresh loops, and I dug my foul weather gear out because the weather guessers think there might be some wet stuff in our immediate future. Going to somewhere around Bodega Bay. I'll be thinking of you. Good luck!

Good luck 40G.
I've been on a few trips for blue crab in tidal rivers off Chesapeake Bay.
Haven't been since right before covid
Always fun.
Stay safe n enjoy 👍😊

Good luck Nook, we'll be the pair bundled up on Spud Point pier in a few weeks.
