I’m a little north of you in the Fort Worth area. Right now the big catfish are biting, we were using Shad on the bottom. Catching catfish from 2-35lbs, but also catching a lot of large mouth trying to target the catfish. All of the largemouth are full of eggs already. Our bait was just sitting,you may want to slow your retrieve a lot. Don’t know if that helps ya, but they are there don’t give up.

Hey everybody, Just wanted to say wazzzup. I’m in Texas, I fish the BRAZOS River a lot, and lake Whitney. I do good on the river but the lake is a little harder to fish, anyone fish the lake on here? I like to catch whatever is biting, but like sandys and striped bass the best

Burleson has a nice pond off of hidden creek parkway. You could also go to Keene, there is a nice size lake off 917 I believe. Can’t miss it, right in town easy access
