Great guys! Thanks. I'm not really on budget that much, but I don't like spending too much either. I will opt for Spinfisher and will try to get the Coronado as well. I heard it can handle a large line pretty well.

Cheers.

Right. I am mostly interested in a wharf. I also heard some good things about PENN Spinfisher - people are saying it's the best one you can get under $250. What do you guys think? Has anyone here used it before?

Hi guys! So I am looking for some fishing reel recommendation. I searched all different shops, but I am kind of clueless when it comes to this. I am pretty new to topwater fishing, so this is a really hard choice to make without having the real-life experience. Would be great if you could propose something or at least help me decide what should I focus on?

Thank you.

I don't have any and I don't believe it works. It would surely be nice to have one though, but I can't remind myself of any item in particular that could have brought me any luck and I don't want to pick just any random item to be my Lucky Charm, so I will probably never have one.. or will see, you never actually.

Yes, that's what I thought actually. I watched some videos too, but they really were of no hep at all. I will keep practicing then and check out some different environments too, because if I am to be honest here - I have been only fishing in the very few same locations that are close to me all the time. Time for a change of venue I guess. I will try to organize some trip to some more exotic location whenever I have more time and am free from work.

Hey guys! I'm making this thread not only on my behalf, but also all other people that aren't that experienced with fly fishing. How does one actually improve in fly casting? I have been practicing it for quite a while, but it kind of seems like I'm stuck on the same level more of less. Zero improvement so far. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Just not sure what. I can't say that I'm totally not successful with it, but there must be some ways to improve in this area.

That's why I have made this thread to be honest. I want to know more about this process, maybe there is some knowledge that you guys can share based on your experience, which you surely have much more than I do. Appreciate any tips!

Yeah, I never heard of anyone having accident like this, but I have always imagined that this was a possibility and never once fished on a sandbar. I may be very precautious as well, but I believe I rather be safe than sorry. Especially as fishing on a sandbar isn't that much of fun anyway. Still, thanks for letting us know, hopefully people will be more careful about this, because as far as I know... they usually aren't.
