Was out peddling around in our kayaks for the 1st time this year through the channels of Bird Key. Brought some shrimp along. Made a few casts when this sheepshead couldn’t resist. I thought I was fighting a black drum then saw this guy

Hello. Does anyone know where to get live bait in the Metairie area of Louisiana? The closest bait shop I can find is like 30-45 minutes away.

There is a nice place to launch over by turtle beach in Sarasota. I launch my kayak there when I get to. They have a nice set up to clean your kayak when you are done as well.
