The bridge to Sanibel island was great last year with the hurricane not sure we were fishing from shore

We were just down there and we caught some very nice Spanish mackerel and a few pompano on the bridge pilings coming onto Sanibel Island with spoons and other style like lead jigs jerking them back we did catch a few fish out in the by the islands off of my boat just finding weed beds and those were live shrimp with corks We were catching sea trout out there

I like the waterproof ones the bass mafia ones are nice Plano makes a waterproof one as well little bit more expensive than just a standard Plano but they keep your lures better no moisture protects the hooks

When they fog the motor they spray an oil based spray in the carburetor on older motors or they remove the spark plugs and spray it in the opening it is called Fogg we get it by an auto parts store

I start by putting some environmentally friendly antifreeze down your drains making sure that your bilge pump pumps out whatever comes out that way you clear out water out of your bilge pump and out of the boat itself pull your plug then drain your lower unit oil and refill then I always fog my motor make sure that there’s no moisture in your lower unit oil as well as filling your cylinders with fog it is a tedious process not difficult but I have decided I’ll be late to just pay someone else to do it that way it’s all done and I have time for other things
