Bass Tips/Hacks #1

I recently got a book of bass tips and hacks. They seam like good info to me. Some of you experts will have probably heard or used them before but for other novices like me I figured Iโ€™d share a few a day.

#1. When applying spray on scent put your lure into a plastic bag. One quick shot with the spray then you can use the bag to rub the extra scent all over the lure. It both more throughly covers lure and it saves on spray.

#2. Use bobber stops (slip bobber type) to peg your sinker when fishing a T-rig. Allows for easy unpegging as well as adjustments on your fall action.

#3. Use a red marker to color the tips of your skirts on spinner and chatterbaits. This imitates a bleeding fish and is known to help induce strikes. Fish are programmed to eat other bleeding fish.

So there are 3 that added to my knowledge. Iโ€™ll post a few more every day till Iโ€™m through the book. Hope it helps!

Another tip: use an empty rifle or pistol shell to cut round plugs
from foam rubber/plastic, soak them in scent, and insert them
into your tube baits.
