Hi Neil, regulars on canal aren’t unfriendly, just the opposite, I am one of them, to fish canal, you need a bike, tides are east and west, high or low doesn’t matter, if there is a lot of guys, try to be in sinc with them, if they are jigging, you jig too, if fish are breaking, fish too water, anywhere from Scusset to herring run is good on east tides, west tide Bourne bridge to Maritime, stay away from Bell road, is a Zoo there, I fish Maritime alot, have been getting Albies there recently, if you see a tan Tacoma with rod racks, stop and say hello, we all talk to each other
Anything going on at Claw or Coxes lately?
First year trying for rec fish, went to Claw, Monday, dead, dead, dead, no boats, no bait, no birds, no fish. Is it done till next year? Or do they come back? Did see a couple jump close to Gay head. Hooked 2 off Peaked Hill, but they got away, would like another shot, any info, much appreciated
Anyone try to trailer down to Watch Hill? Heard tuna bite good there. Would like some info on area. Never been there before, boat ramp, rocks etc.
Nice, best report I’ve heard in 2 weeks, gonna go to Claw this weekend, if wind let’s me, thanks for the info!!!!
Heard also, could put in at Saquatucket, not sure how long run is to the ledge, would probably wait for summer traffic to die down, trailering from CC canal, been brutal, last couple weeks
Thank you, think you have to put in at Chatham to get there, don’t have a Ryders parking sticker, first year with this Parker 2320, been going to peaked hill, and south of Nomans, can’t go real far, boat not big enough
Tuna wishing, south of vineyard, fairly new to game
