I suggest using a good epoxy for your clear coat,
EnviroTex lite pour on epoxy works very well.

Didn't see my first reply that's why it's there twice
I recommend using airbrush paint then clear coat with epoxy.
You can find a knock off airbrush for a reasonable price online
I would recommend airbrush paint, you can get a knock off airbrush for a reasonable price.
You will also need a clear coat, for that use an epoxy
Great catch, been waiting for a good report.
Will try to get there, Thanks.

1 fish a day and they have to be 15"
Thanks for the update and picture of your Shark, great fight I'm sure.
Welcome aboard g-man, a lot of good fishing along the coastline where you are located. Your choice of either beach fishing or going out on your boat.
Around the bridges you can find Sheephead and from the beaches look for pompano, reds, flounder, trout, whiting, spot and puffers along with a few others.
Not too far off shore you can find good structure that holds grouper, snapper, amberjack along with other good eating fish. You can troll spoons near shore for some Spanish.
Your best bet would be to invest in the charts for the water that you are planning to fish which will make it easier for you to find the wrecks.
Again welcome aboard.
That's why it's called recreational fishing, you catch the fish, take a picture, release the fish and then go buy the same species that you just put back in the water
I really think that with my rod and reel in hand and 1day of fishing that the fish are going to bite so good that I will deplete the fish population.
Actually they want you to go to the fish market and buy what they catch.
So everyone should just throw all of their rod and reels away.
I think maybe about an hour from where you are but I would cross over the bridge, you can catch a variety of great tasting fish. Unless you have a 4 wheel drive then you can have a blast catching fish in the surf.

It's not to long of a ride to Oregon Inlet and that used to be a really good place
