Anyone going to try the 3 day opener in Area 7? New to that area and have never fished it. I would be launching at Washington Park. Any advice on locations near there and best bait-lures to run? Any help is appreciated.

I could imagine. There were hundreds of pots already in the water when I was dropping mine at 7am.

Good luck! About 60 to 70 feet was working best. 40 feet was more Rocks then Dungeness. Used salmon scraps for bait.

Crab season is open. 5 Dungees and some Rocks. Threw back bunch of females. A couple of the ladies were really nice and fat!

Anyone have experience plunking for Sockeyes on the Skagit River. I know what to use but more interested in locations where you don't snag up so often. I know of Jones Bar but it gets crowded.
