Good morning guys and gals it's cartoon time.

Do you remember how we couldn't get up all week long, but come Saturday up with the sun and sitting in front of the TV.

I try not to sit in front of that any more than I have to. They lie too much on there. It's worse than facebook!

Brad and I are headed to the Napa tomorrow.
If we just wanted to catch fish we would definitely go back to the Pet but it's kinda boring after awhile just catchin fish trollin.
Thought we would try something different tomorrow. Go cast for a few hours and try our luck.
Hopefully we'll be able to find a few that wanna paly.

Good morning Leo, and all to follow. Your severe weather never got here. Nobody needs the 70+mph winds, but we sure could have used the rain! 65 now, heading for 85 later. We are golfing today in a scholarship fund raiser with the next door neighbor and her boyfriend. It should be fun!
Have a great day all!

Hit them long and straight, John.

I was talking about funerals in the "Good Morning" post, so I will continue on with the subject.

What's the difference between an Irish Wedding & an Irish Funeral?
The funeral has one less drunk.

Have a good one, boys and girls.

Good morning, Stagers!!!

Overnight, Patchy fog after 5am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a steady temperature around 62. West wind 3 to 5 mph.
Saturday, Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 83. Breezy, with a west wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. The current temp. is 62*, with 92% humidity, and the air quality is excellent.

We got a nasty storm last night with 70 - 80 MPH winds, lightning & thunder, and heavy rain, 3/4". The TV was talking about having to take cover and baseball-sized hail, but that didn't materialize. This is a good thing, because we don't have a basement, and my pick-up has to sit in the driveway.

We're going up to Caledonia today to tie up some loose ends, go to Mass and meet the new priest. We are still members of the St. Mary's parish and are planning to have our funerals there.

Have a good one today, and please take care of yourself, your loved ones, and others in need.

Well, we have a nasty storm moving in with large hail, heavy thunderstorms and 80 MPH winds. I best get my buns off of the deck and in the condo. I brought the grill in, tipped the chairs and the table over, there is nothing I can do about the pick-up.

Your bedtime story:

Did you hear about the shepherd who drove his sheep through town? He was given a ticket for making a ewe turn.

Have a good evening, my friends.

I headed upstream towards the Shepaug Dam, and about 2/3 of the way, all was made clear to me. I come around a bend and there's the Lake Patrol boat with his blue lights on. Apparently they laid a gas line across the lake, and an Excavator on a Barge was burying it with rocks from another Barge. After slowly making my way past I ran up to the dam, only to find another Barge being loaded with rocks. Giving them lots of room and with the strong current, all I could catch was panfish. Working my way down to the first set of docks paid off with a 1.5 lb Smallie. After a couple dinks, I circled around and made another pass. Near the last dock I caught another decent one, just shy of 2 lbs. I ran halfway to the ramp and fished the tornado trees, but found nothing but Rockys and dink Smallmouth. Ran down to the last stretch before the ramp and caught a 1.5 lb Largemouth. Shot over to JMK's side of the lake but only got 1more dink and another Rocky.
Total score 6 Smallmouth, 6 Rockbass, 1 Bluegill, and 1 Largemouth. Nothing big,but all in all a decent 4.5 hours. The Jetskies and Tubers were just starting to show up, so time to go.
PS: All fish caught on a 5" unweighted TR Dinger, most on Summer Gill, a few on Watermelon/Red Flake.

How's the catfishing on Fox river Kenosha county

Welcome to the Stage, Donavon!!! All at once, we seem to have an influx of Packer Fans on the Stage lately. That is a good thing, but I'm a Viking Fan, having lived in MN. for 79 years. You are still great people. Sorry, I can't help you with the catfishing. Have a good evening and good luck.

Growin up in farmin country I know of guys that had that happen to them also. Jumpin of trailers and such and their ring got caught on something and they lost their ring finger.

People should have a tattoo on their finger to signify that they are married. It would be safer and cheaper.

Gonna raid the freezer for fish tonight! ๐ŸŸ

Have a great day all!!

Why is that? You have already caught them. Besides that, they don't fight that much the second time around.

My good buddy, OJditit, John, tried unsuccessfully to post this. So, I thought that I would try it. I thought it was very good. A little advice every married man should know.
