Wear a life jacket and don't play in the street.
Don't play in the street or talk to strangers
Thanks for the comments, I'm glad we can keep one oversized here along the Bama coast. A guy I know holds the state record for redfish. He caught it at night by the coal tipple where the sewage discharge is. Record or not I never could bring myself to fish that spot. Not just the "effluent" discharge that is supposedly clean, but sometimes at night I would see him fishing there when I boarded a ship, he and his boat would be covered black with coal dust.

Got into the reds Saturday near Dog River. I normally release them but ended up keeping a limit for a fish fry. I caught about 11 total, early before it got too hot and kept (2)-25" and one oversize 32". Was using chunks of peeled 16/20 dead shrimp left over from last fall. Still good shrimp froze in water, bought them in south LA near the camp for $3/lb.

No beer, I actually lost my taste for it. Back in the day tho I probably drank enough to fill up the RMS Olympic. I like to make West Indies out of triggerfish. These are going in the flounder i caught.
No, he barely had time for breakfast. Sunday is his busy day after all...........................................................
It took the two of us an hour
You need to know how to talk to the fishes too.
Yes they do. Love that downward pull.
Fortunately I grew up with this priest. He was different as a child. He never wanted to get into the devilment with the rest of us boys. Out of 10,000 he is the 1 good one. Thank God for that.

Me and the wife went out after 6 am mass and breakfast with our priest yesterday am and got some crabs to go with the flounder I caught last week. It took us about an hour and a half to get 25 bigguns. Was using the flounder heads and backs for bait. Net was 2+ lbs of meat.

They used these to put them back on the tracks. I used to operate steam cranes in the early 1980's. They were fun but sketchy. First post didn't go, or it's slow.
Put on tracks with these. I operated steam cranes at Alabama Drydock in the early 1980's. Probably one of the last living that could fire one up and run it. They were fun, but sketchy. Someone derailed a car full of steel plates one night because of sand covering the track. I was in a steam gantry at the time and just picked up one end at a time and put it back on the rails.

I may go get some crabs on Sunday and stuff one of them with crab dressing, parmesan cheese, and shallots
