Good morning to everyone, I enjoy helping Mike with this thread especially since he is getting to go fishing 🎣 with Jim Sargent again. They are two great guys to fish with and I'm hoping for another trip with them at Lake Powell this year.
The thought from today was sent to me from "1Oldboat42" another one of our fine group of stagers and I'm sure all of us can relate, remember, relish.

Great post. Thanks CamT and old boat! Those fenders were great for running the roads rabbit hunting. Can't do that anymore. No more road hunting. I miss the old days!

Good morning all.
We've made it half way through February. Its 18° now but heading toward 48° this afternoon. We're supposed to get wind and rain.

A German, a Frenchman and an Englishman go fishing...

They fish quite happily for a while until the German catches a huge golden fish, but as he pulls it off the hook it says "Please don't kill me! Spare my life and I'll grant you all a wish!"

The German throws the fish back and says "I wish for a mug of beer that will never empty", and immediately a foaming mug of ice-cold German ale appears in his hand. He takes a long swig and when he puts it down, it's still miraculously full! The Frenchman and Englishman are, of course, amazed.

"I wish," said the Frenchman, "For a wall to be built around France, ten miles high and ten miles thick, so that nobody can get in and nobody can get out."

The fish screws up its eyes in concentration for a moment then says. "Done! And what do you want?"

"Is there a wall around France?" asks the Englishman

"Yes." replies the fish.

"Is it ten miles high and ten miles thick?"

"Yes."

"And can nobody get in, and nobody get out?"

"Yes."

"Well then," says the Englishman, "I want you to fill it with water."

Have a great day folks!

I agreed to take the thread a little early so Plum could get time to rest up. My friend Jim invited me to go fishing for a couple of days so in the interim CamT is going to fill in. Hope to have pictures to post especially of a lunker bass since I haven’t caught one of those yet. Tight lines 🎣🎣😁

Be careful not to get bass thumb. Have Jim show you the ropes. Tight lines guys!

It’s going to be a great game Marvin, but go 49ers! No matter how it turns out, the right teams are there and I will be enjoying adult beverages, good food and the company of my sport addict wife! Doesn’t get any better unless I’m fishing too!!

Can ya tune in the game on your fish finder? Find footballs instead of fish! Use the split screen mode.lol

Upon lookin further, I believe the second number on my anvil is 0.
That is in what I thought was a seal of some kind but actually that says SOLID WROUGHT ( in a circle) with the 0 in the middle.
So the first number is 1, the second # is 0 and the third # is 17.
So that would be 112 + 0 + 17 = 129.
It feels more like that weight also I believe.
Let me know what y'all think from all the info found so far. Thanks.

Wow. We all learned something today. Pretty good for a Monday. Starts the week off right. Thanks saw1. I feel smarter.lol

Enough said.
I've seen each one.
As a Charger fan, I pretty much dislike the Chiefs.
I knew it was over when 49ers only got a field goal in OT.
I recommend don't EVER bet against Patrick.
Fantastic game.
Much congratulations to Chiefs fans.
Get used to it.
You have the best ever.

Emotions were high on both sidelines but when Kelce pushed the head coach and said "put me in, I'll score! I knew the Chief's had it.

On NASCAR races I always add two hours and sometimes that's close.lol don't know if the new OT rules allow multiple OT's but two hours woulda done it. I told some of the family rooting for the 49 ers: It's not how you play the game, it's whether you win or lose. The first quarter was pretty sloppy for the chiefs but they played better the tireder they got.

Now if that was me, I'd have to travel through four states to go that far.

When we lived on Austin, Tx it was 600 miles to get to Ratone, New Mexico. Another trivia fact: it is farther from Austin to Elpaso than it is from Elpaso to LAX. Texas is a BIG state! Now going North it is only 300 miles from Austin to Lake Texoma. But it is 500 miles from Austin to Lake Amistad down at Del Rio. That's 800 miles. Now if you want to go up the panhandle to Oklahoma you add another 200 miles. I know that's TMI for s monday morning. Hope Wullfy catches some fish down south!

Ezra is 9 years old and lives in Bellingham, Wa. He was born with a heart valve that was too small. He has reached the point where he has to have surgery so that his heart will pump enough blood to meet his body’s needs. This will be the first of several surgeries he has to have before his heart and body are fully developed. Ezra is my great grandson. I am asking you my Stage family to please help us pray for a successful outcome to all of this. I want the chance to take this boy fishing. Surgery is February 27th…. Thank you and God Bless each and every one of you.
