Good morning to everyone, I enjoy helping Mike with this thread especially since he is getting to go fishing 🎣 with Jim Sargent again. They are two great guys to fish with and I'm hoping for another trip with them at Lake Powell this year.
The thought from today was sent to me from "1Oldboat42" another one of our fine group of stagers and I'm sure all of us can relate, remember, relish.

Great post Cam, those old roads, dogs and old folks are rapidly disappearing and are surely missed. We’re now in the position to take up the slack and fulfill that void for the next generation.

Great post with true meanings. We use to call them the old folks and now we are the old folks.

It is very strange being the same age as old people… one day you’re young and fun, the next you’re turning down the car radio to see better 😜

Good one Mark, takes me back to my pre teen days when I would walk over to the old mans house next store and sit on his porch and listen to him talk about the old days.

It is amazing what one can learn by listening to those that have been there and can unknowingly teach by just talking about the way it was.

Very true Cam, at my last family reunion a few cousins and myself was talking about how we're becoming the elders of the family. I'm only 56 😳

Must say I do catch myself yearning for more stable things from the past. Things were built better and most people acted better.
