I am just wondering how many of you are putting fishing information on the stage intended for everyone to see in the main fishing section, only to have admin redirect the topic put elsewhere that most people don't pay attention to. I put a piece on the stage 2 days ago titled "Cooperative weather" and only at this time have had 5 comments to it. This is because admin put it in a location specific section. After I requested that it be moved to the main fishing topic section, they refused.
When a subject is specific to catching multiple types of fish with pics to go along with the information it to me should be in that main fishing section that most of us that have been on the stage for some time do tend to read more than location specific. I am beginning to wonder if those deciding where things are placed understand what (FISHING STAGE) was started for.
Just saying!!!

I have no problem catching them but here recently I've been noticing that they don't want to hit in dry spells for about 2 to 3 weeks at a time and I fish everyday I don't know what the bass problem is but it seems like they're being really finicky I use all plastics rattle traps everything except for live bait any tips?

If it’s legal to use live bait, I’d try minnows

Love a good carp fight but don’t eat him. You may never get that tast out of your mouth. If you are from LA it’s ok. They don’t mind the taste 👅

They still make good fertilizer

Interesting. Quite the sight for whatever reason. Is it possible some larger fish you didn't see were targeting them?

If they are being attacked by predators they usually form up a tight little ball

Aren’t you glad we don’t have to do that like the fish do?

We have our own. Usually involves lots of $$$$$

Today's number is 10.
This morning's forecasted high, 10° less than the 11pm forecast last night.
The 5-10mph wind forecasted, is blowing 15-20.
The surface temperature of the water (62°-65° last week) was 52° at the ramp, and 55° when I hauled out.
Needless to say, the fish were as confused as I was. I didn't see or mark a single fish, from the dam south for 1.5 miles. I threw everything that I had rigged, without any responses. As I worked my way south, battling the gusty wind, I found some Yellow Perch, but they were just tugging on the tworm. I didn't have the ultralight with me so I kept moving. Finally, within a quarter mile from the ramp I managed to find one Bass, hanging around a blowdown next to a deep dropoff. That's it, one and done. Hopefully better luck next time.
Almost forgot, the Merc ran great, 25.4mph with a heavy headwind.

Has anyone fished with a Alabama rig in an area that is legal. There are a lot of different designs and I want to try it but looking for some startup info.

Check your local regulations, in Ca you can have 5 lures on it, but you can have hooks on 3 of them
