Started this week. Got a little action on minnows. Jigged a little not much action for me. I am not the best jigger though I’ll get better. Water temp 70.
Saturday I had a good day on crickets and red worms. I hit the boat landing at 6:30.
I caught this species of brim I think it’s a redspot sunfish. I think that’s a flathead cat that fd caught. Third was my keepers for the day. Fd had a channel and 5 brim to go with that cat. What do y’all think? Do I have it right on species?
Welcome I mainly fish Guntersville which fishes about the same as watts bar lake in Tennessee. I am more of a live bait occasionally use lures Right now red worms and crickets September I’ll switch to minnows. Good luck. Tight lines.
Welcome aboard Tennessee boy probably could help with walker county. Good luck and tight lines
10” gill is pretty nice any where. Nice catch thanks for sharing
Will be waiting to see pics. Take at least of the scenery please. That’s one area I have not visited yet. Soon I hope to change that. Good luck and tight lines
Good luck and have fun. Nice pics. It’s nice when the tides allow you to get out early. Keep a tight line
Fish a moving tide. Use some mullet or shrimp fresh not frozen. If you can throw a cast net all the free bait. Look in the shallows you can see the bait. Look for tidal creeks feeding in fish the mouths. Close high tide fish close to the grass. Good luck
They look healthy keep it tight. Thanks for the pics
Try a drop net to bring them that far up.
Welcome go to the mobile delta. Chickasabogue creek it’s a black water creek feeds into mobile river bay. I’ve heard of someone mention lake N is down around that area. Good luck tight lines. Euflua lake is down in LA ( lower Alabama).
Really good boat and a good price. Looks ready to go. Take it on a test ride first. Make sure it gets up on plane easily.
