Well I actually got out to fish today. Went to a local pond that was stocked last week. Didn't have anything going on there. I arrived as four others were leaving that had been there for a while. Drove up to the MD/PA line to check out a section of creek I'd never fished before. They had just stocked there as well. Found a real nice stretch of water, very quiet and scenic, right diwn to the covered bridge . There must have been a 50 or 60 rainbows and Goldens under that bridge, but nobody was interested in anything. I got one hit on a chartreuse jig but it didn't really hit it hard, just sorta nipped the tail. Fished until it rained harder that I was going to tolerate., then went home.
