I have never been to the Adirondacks, but it looks beautiful. My wife and I are going to camp somewhere, and probably rent a canoe and look for some fish. I understand some lakes/ponds have trout, some have bass etc. We are just out for a good time and catching is a bonus. HOWEVER, if you have any suggestions for camping spots with fishing nearby, I would appreciate any suggestions.
There are many species in the river. You can target something different daily. I like going after the striped bass. Fun to catch and good eating. Good luck and welcome.
To me it looks like "pesco-plastico".
Nicely done. Nice fish and a great story. Gotta get after 'em.
Welcome to the forum! I'm from Valley Center, your neighbor. I get out for surf fishing also. Sometimes I hit Lake Wohlford for trout.
Maybe we'll meet on the beach.
Three great stories in one thread, gotta love this stuff....
Those are nice. If you're gonna catch two, may as well be nice ones.
That would be my thought, too.
Look for sunken brush, shade, or cover. Throw mini jigs, crappie minnows, or golden shiners. YouTube has a ton of stuff for slip bobbers. Once you find their depth use those. Tight lines, send pics.
Those are some chunky ones, for sure.
Where were you houseboatin'?
I love that old classic stuff.
You got a few tanks there, nicely done.
Hey Matt, how many batteries does it take to run your sweatshirt?
