Wake up knuckleheads. 4:10 am. Couldn't sleep any longer. Too many aches and pains lately in this old body.

Lame joke of the day - Why don't blind people go sky diving? It scares their dogs.

Rain and storms possible here today. Finished my landscaping and yard work yesterday. Good day to chill and watch a movie. Have a good one angling type humanoids.

I always heard that the blind goes skydiving. Jumps out of the plane, counts to 10 and pulls the RIP cord. Then when he gets 10 feet from the ground he bends his knees and prepares for impact with the ground. But how does he know when he is 10 feet from the ground? Well he feels slack in the leash of his guide dog.

Not necessary. My friend and I have had our share of buried hooks. The best way, and it’s painless, is to double up some high test fishing line. Next place the line around the hook bend with both tag lines in hand. Next put pressure down on the eye of the hook or lure, then with tag ends in the other hand jerk hard and quickly back and slightly downward. The hook or bait will pop out with no pain whatsoever. Don’t be a sissy when you or your fishing partner gives that quick yank, it does work.

Will you YouTube that for us?

As a furniture guy (designer/builder, and variously through 4 decades.. merchant) Love that riddle ! Thanks... I'm gonna use that.
Now then... I am Irish, celebrate every March 17th, but since I was a child have wondered why I have to order a vegetable for my traditional meal ? It said on the menu that the beef is corned.... have never seen a single kernel on it !

Here is another one I heard today.

An Irish man was driving around for a very long time looking for a place to park. As he was becoming increasingly frustrated he called to the lord and said Lord, if you can help me find a parking spot I will give up my drinking and attend mass every Sunday. Just then the sky opened up and a bright light shown down on the perfect parking spot. To which the man said never mind, I just found one!

Don't know why some of us are so worried about catching the Corona Virus. Some of us never catch anything! Made me chuckle.
Enjoy.

Just curious and not trying to be facetious, what is the nickname of the High School Team?

Well Boring doesn't have a high school. But the grade school is the Boring Bears. High School you get divided up and either go to Sandy or Barlow. You lose half your friends.

Don't know when this virus thing is goin to get better, but you and me need to get together and go fishin Spirit. What do you think?

I would love that. I don't get out much and don't have the slightest clue about what I'm doing but it is kind of like golf and sex. You don't have to be good at it to enjoy it!

Been to Boring. It's not. From a Indiana native: North Platte is South, South Bend is North, and French Lick ain't what it sounds like. That was from the Polish Corps of Engineers, of which I am an honorary member. I'm Irish, I can say that, and still be PC (whatever that is).

Boring Oregon is actually named after my great great grandfather William H. Boring. He homesteaded out here in the late 1800s and donated some land for the first school in the area. They named it Boring grade school. When the trains came through they called it Boring junction and eventually it just became known as Boring. My father recently just sold the last 20 acres of the original homestead. Kind of sad to see it go. There you go. More than you ever wanted to know about Boring. Haha

That is a great story Fin. You and grandma have made a very positive end to a story that could have gone the other way in a hurry. Keep it up and stay positive! You are very much appreciated!

Must be looking at it from the ends of your fingers and not the back of your hand. Ring finger on your right hand. Or some call it the hook finger. Sorry. Hope you are alright!
