Told CDB and Big Dog I was going fishing today and they asked for a cast for them. I said sure what # cast do you want between 2 and 300.

CDB chose 7 and B D choose 97.

1st pic was my 7th cast

2 nd pic was somewhere around 97.

3rd pic is why I lost count. Epic day 18 total all would have been keepers. I kept a 16" , a 17", and 2 each 18"

Think I will take B D and CDB fishing again

Go for it Saw would love to hook into a striper even though they are not legal. Good fighters and rarely throw the hook.

Was 99% a good day.

# 18 fish twisted just right and put a treble hook through my finger on the side and came out just under the nail. Other hook still in fish and while grabbing for the pliers to pull it out of the fish first, I snag the glove on my left hand.

Turn glove inside out to get it off, and fish laying in net was able to get hook out of him and then do field surgery on finger.

No, you can not pull a treble hook back out of a finger very easily. Lets just say the fish and I are now blood brothers.

Dang Plum, that's gotta hurt. Be sure to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get infected. Might keep you off the water for a few days. Good luck.

Finger to the left of my middle finger on the right hand. That one just dangles from the reel so unless it turns colors I am still going fishing.

You should carry pine sol all of the time. Put an antibiotic on it and watch it closely.
