There was a thicket of blackberry bushes by a spot I used to fish on the upper Manasquan River. They'd begin to ripen about mid-June, when the trout fishing was slowing down. I'd drift a nightcrawler into a hole downstream, set the rod down and pick a snack. Delicious! Sometimes I'd even catch a fish!

Unfortunately, if the so-called facts come from ABCNNBCBS or MSDNC, NYT, WAPO, NPR or any of their "fact checkers" they can not be believed. And if they can't refute any fact that does not fit their agenda, they simply won't report it. And Politifact? Please! They are no more trustworthy than the networks!

China does not "report" anything it chooses NOT to report. A Chinese doctor who put information about C****-** in an online forum was imprisoned; another, a young woman, had to flee to the U.S. from China to avoid it. She has been interviewed a number of times.

I am a licensed real estate broker, so I can't just ignore incoming calls. They could be from a potential client who's seen my sign on a property, my name in an ad or online or been referred to me by a satisfied client. To avoid the robocalls I pick up but say nothing for five seconds or so. Most of the robos will hang up, but if a person is there you'll usually get a tentative "hello" after a few seconds.

The doctors at the CDC are in many cases political hacks. I don't trust them. I trust the doctors who actually treat patients more than those who are career bureaucrats, like Fauci.
Mrs. JimRed and I (aged 77 & 74) were both infected after following the rules of masking, mostly staying home and distancing. We each have underlying conditions that indicated that we were at higher than average risk of death, but recovered, tested negative. Taste and smell have not fully returned yet.
I hope you and yours get well and stay well.
