The picture looks like a Thunderhead scary if it formed at sunrise

Great pic. You could frame that one.

Thanks. It was unique. Usually you see something like that at sunrise on the east side of the state. This was on the west side and you dont usually see something like this except for at sunset. I guess the cloud was so high that the top of it was catching the sun as it rose in the east

Good morning all......I'm hoping for some rain today to cool it down a bit but it's a beautiful morning.

Have you ever seen them body surf a wave??

Yes a few times but mostly when they're riding the wake of a boat. I could watch them for hours. I'd love to see some killerwhales.

I'll stick with pledge. I dont want my rods "coated" with anything That's what the epoxy coating is for. And for composite rods I'd never put an auto wax on them. Pledge cleans and makes it shiny new and the guides slick.Durability isnt the issue. The reg .maintenance is. I have rods over 25 yrs old that are strictly saltwater and still look like new with rust free original guides. I wont use wd-40 on anything except frozen screws, bolts etc. It does nothing re rust/corrosion. I also have a street glide and two fourwheelees that get washed and pledge. They get stripped and waxed once a year. Then pledge.
Cork....the mention of cork was meant to state that pledge will not harm it if you get spray on it. Same with rubber or anything else. It would be silly to use anything that makes things slick on grips, bike seats, tires etc..
Ps...those showbike builders do use auto wax, ceramic coatings etc...but they use pledge at shows etc to keep the dust down so they dont have to wipe it down 10 times a day. Anybody whose ever waxed something can watch the dust run to it like a magnet.
At my age I do what's worked for me for years. But hey.... the next wooden fishing rod I get I'll consider varnish, polyurethane and auto wax. My decision was made years ago LOLOL!😘

Florida is like that too. You almost have to check the regs daily at the rate they change. Then they change/create zones to where theres no longer a west central/east central zone. Always makes you say why but they always seem to have an answer that may or may not make sense. 2020....where everything is fluid right down to your gender.

It's Friday knuckleheads. Get up. Mid 80s. Rain likely.
Normally, my check is in the bank on Thursday by 6 pm. Nothing there last night. I get a text saying they are changing payroll services. I call work. That doesn't happen until next check. Somebody messed up. I better get paid today. All I ask is they pay me and they can't handle that one right.

What happens when a frog's car breaks down? It gets toad away?

Have a good one clones. Stay safe. Catch fish. I gotta go to work later and crack some heads. Always some crap to deal with, right?

I dont blame you. We dont get up every day and spend 8 to 10 hours away from our house to make friends. It's all about that check and when it's not there its aggravating. On the bright side tomorrow is saturday so go wet a line!

That's cheating :) Neither one of those so called "words" is a word unless your talking about cereal and wine. I could give you wgalsayc and later tell you it's a scalywag. What some retail company named a lure in 1960. Come on, Man!
Just messin' with you.

Lol. Well there is Frances Trix and Oreno Italy. So theres that 😂

Just my opinion...I'd get a sit on top. I have an Old Town Dirigo fishing kayak that's a sit in and it's a nightmare to try to work lures out of.
The rod butt is always hitting the the sides of the kayak. I fished on a buddy's sit on kayak and it's a night and day difference and way more comfortable

How do you fry them like that and not have the breadcrumbs or flour come off? Every time I do it they end up with no breadcrumbs or flour on them . It's all in the pan lol

They are amazing. Since I moved from the east coast of fla to the west coast of fla I've never seen dolphin so up close and personal. Theyll come right up next to the boat and put on shows that will amaze you. Sometimes every snook, trout or redfish you hook will get stolen by a dolphin. They're also know to snatch rods off the skyway bridge if you throw a live bait out and set the rod down lol. Then sometimes they can take a bait right off your hook and youd never feel a thing or even know they were there. They are incredibly smart.
