Looks like a nice day in any case. No skunk.

You are right, still a great day at the lake.

Well hey, WH, hope all’s well with you. Thanks for the photos. I sure would like to see an armadillo- this is as close as I’ve been so far, lol. Looks like your doggie was enjoying the day, too. You still after those catfish? Here’s to getting a few, soon.

No cats but I did catch 2 bluegill and one undersized crappie. Used the blue gill yesterday to catch 3 2# cats and one legal crappie. Supper tonight!

Lake Lanier must be pretty good as they hold tournaments there. My BIL and sister live on Lanier. They report fishermen in boats often fish the coves flipping near all the docks. I have had luck fishing those same coves for catfish with hotdogs.

Hi all a quick thanks to all that took the time to welcome me to the group.
I went out this morning and thanks to my
White Whopper Plopper I was able to land
another nice LMB. Not the size of Saturday's
but still a nice bass. I've having access to these neighborhood ponds.

Mighty good looking bass. Thanks for the pics and welcome to the stage.

Sad it is Hooker, even sadder when you want a hurricane to ease the water problem.

Yes, PB, but then there will be someone to curse the rain.

We (Texas), have been so dry, no rain. The lakes around me are very low. With the evaporation of the water, the staining of the water keeps looking worse and worse. Looks like the Red River is emptying into my favorite little lake.
