Fishing at the Indian River inlet. The guy next to me hooked a big something. 15 minutes later he finally got it to the net. Stingray about 20 inches or so accross. Returned to the water after unhook. Kinda hard to see as it blends in....

Sting rays are eatable. They are kinda bland tasting. The texture is different as well. I cheat and cut small chunks out of the wings, soak them in clam juice bread them and fry them and pretend they're scallops or cut them in fillet like pieces and fry them with fish. Ray takes on the fish taste.

Thanks prayers are appreciated and I am gaining ground. My body could only stand 2 rounds of chemo but I'm still doing imenotherpy. 2 rounds of chemo took every hair in my body. Now I've got fuzz on my head and a 1/4" goatee Tight lines 4🎣

Either way, nice trout from any location. Welcome back Fin. Haven’t seen you post in a while. Probably just me. Still smoking your catch of the day?

Four I'm still fighting cancer and chemo messed up my heart. I've been fishing 3 times since last fall. Yesterday I was fishing and caught 2 which will go on the smoker.

how did you fish the howard franklin bridge in tarpon fl the bridge goes from tampa to st pete what i know you can't fish any where that bridge cross the bay because of all the road work and the new bridge is being built i cross that bridge for 25 years there is no parking any place near that bridge.

great fish wrong bridge.

I'll bet he meant Fred Howard as he said Tarpon Springs. Going out to the island (park) is a mile long bridge with grass flats on either side with bridges thru the causeway.

New to coastal fishing in northwest fl Kayaking shallow grass with no luck Any info on lure selection and water temp or location would be appreciated. Thanks

Crippled mullet. Find where there's drop offs. Even the sea Trout like that and will go for broken tail mullet.

Mainly … let’s have fun talking boats. Outboards. Inboard outboard. Hotrod flat bottoms. Whatever

My first boat was a Kool ( cigarette ) Sea Snark Sailboat. Styrofoam $ aluminum mast lante sail. If memory serves me right I was 22 years old. I caught my first Walleye trolling under sail. I was a busy boy. Rudder under my left elbow, right foot keeping wind in the sail and both hands fighting that walleye.

Hi I'm a new boat owner in the Halifax and Ponce Inlet area.

There's great Sea Trout in your area. Use a crippled mullet for red fish & trout. I like a live lizard under the mango limbs that hang over the water.

Happy birthday Fin, and Rhyno! I hope you guys both have a great day, and get to do whatever you want.

This was a great one for me! I spent 4 hours in the VA running between Labs and imenotherpy session then I saw my cancer doctor and he told me that I was cancer free!!! But I'm staying on imenotherpy every 6 weeks for undetermined time. Makes you wonder 3 months ago the doctor said I would be dead in 6 to 9 months. I started chemo and imenotherpy and quit the chemo after 2 sessions. I continued with the imenotherpy and will continue it. The chemotherapy was to hard on my heart. Now the cancer is all but gone. I still have a tumor in upper right lobe of my lung but it hasn't changed!! So with that news it was a great 77 birthday for me!!!

I see these on amazon for $35.00 to $45.00 are they any good for mostly crappie fishing?

I have a collapsible net I bought for a trout fishing trip a couple years ago. I've only used it about 3 or 4 times. I was more than satisfied with it. The handle extends and slides in over the half folded net. The net is rubber coated I guess.
