1961 17ft Crosby with a 140 Evenrude. Used it for water skiing. Crosby sold out and changed there mold and built Hydro dyne ski boats. I think I spelled that wrong.

Hey Jeremy mine was a 12 ft aluminum V Bottom with a 10 hp electric start motor, I think it was made by Chrysler, I bought it from Montgomery Wards in 1969. I would put it in the bed of my 1965 Chevy 1/2 ton long bed truck. In those days the lakes in San Diego only allowed 10 hp max. My next was a 15ft Skeeter fiberglass tri hull bass boat with a 70 hp merc. Now a 15 ft smokercraft alum deep V with 25 hp Johnson.

An old 16'Plywood runabout. From the late '50s or early '60s. No idea what brand, it was registered as homemade. I put a Merc Mark 55A on it, from a little hydroplane.

Charlykilo Fred…I have a 1962 Clipper Craft in my shop still. It’s a plywood boat. Here is a song I always think of them when I hear it.

Banca boat in Philipine Islands. Essentially a dugout canoe with a bamboo outrigger. Lots of fun for a kid with lots of energy for paddling.

It was an old Thompson Strip boat. I wish I had it today, but I think it's on the bottom of the Miss. River.

How did you ever get it up there, John, how are you going to get it down. A 10'er, that's a good place for it. I used my 10'er flat to water the sheep with. It was the only thing it was good for. I used it once, tiped over and I wasn't going to go out in it again.

I too had a Gregor welded aluminum boat but mine was a 14 footer. Had a 25hp Evinrude on it. Use to take it out on Lake Tahoe. Almost didn't make it home on one of my outings. NOT a pleasant memory. 4 1/2 + foot whitecaps and MILES to go back to the ramp where my truck was. THANK YOU JESUS is all I can really say as to me bein here right now. Just inexperience and no knowledge of the Lake/water.
As I always say, " The LORD looks after Fools and Little Children." And I wasn't a child.
