There's great Sea Trout in your area. Use a crippled mullet for red fish & trout. I like a live lizard under the mango limbs that hang over the water.

Thank you so much, I caught a 25 " sea trout two days ago and it was delicious. Also landed a 15 lb bonnethead shark on shrimp. Nice fight. I still have yet to land the illusive red fish and snook. Tight lines and thank you for the advice. I will try the wounded mullet trick.

As a new fisherman vet from San Diego, Halifax and Ponce Inlet are a whole new experience for this old yellow tail and tuna fisherman. Love the action on the water and docks here in Port Orange. This Sea Trout was particularly good eating with some Pico de gallo!

Try she'll drop offs by mangroves. Fish the deeper water with mullet. Daughter and I limited out on Trout and reds same area.

Very nice! Nothing better than trout. I am still learning the waters, very skinny, but will search for a place to anchor near the current. How did you catch the mullet, or did you get it at a bait store?
