100’s maybe 1000’s of great fishing lakes in northern Wi. Walleye, northern, bass, crappie, bluegill, perch and musky.
Good answer cowboyup. If you find them surface feeding they will eat about anything you throw at them just use a very fast retrieve. When this happens on my lake I can fill a five gallon pail in about 20 - 30 min. A rooster tail spinner works very well.
A 7 ft rod is fine as long as you have the drag set properly and 8-14 in test line.
Not even close to a rock bass...
Wisconsin.......right now.....
Shrimp.......you will catch sheepshead, flounder, black drum, redfish, and snappers....
Think your right. California lizard fish. Can’t see the tail but if it is forked then that is probably what it is.
Bowfin...Dogfish.. catch a lot of them in Wi. Good fighters, fun to catch. I have not tried eating them.
Def not a war mouth. Is a green sunfish.
1/16 - 1/4 oz orange jig tipped with a minnow or crawler. Very consistent.
A smallmouth will outfight a largemouth 2 to 1 pound for pound. Love catching them.
Stick with a center console.
18-21 foot center console bay boat with a 90 to 150 hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard.
