Have always heard about wakley, but never fished it. If u Google "camp Au sable. Org" u can see were i volunteer at. I run the Archery program. And spend 3 or 4 weeks there every summmer, teaching archery to campers then fishing the rest of the time. The Camp is owned by the Michigan conf. Of 7th Day Adventist. I keep my boat there year round. Lake Shelenbarger is a unique lake. Only half or less is fishable

Yeah...that's why I said the "Glades" is full of them. Oh, and don't forget the pet Pythons that are reproducing like rabbits. They are even eating Alligators!
I went down there 2 years ago with a friend and caught a boat full of them. (Cichlids) We were fishing in the canal next to Hwy 27 east of Clewiston. LM Bass were biting too. I will post a picture in my next submission.

Nice bass and big pike

I have the same boat, not near as pretty as yours though. I took middle seat out, put in a floor.
I found mine behind a old barn, with a hole in the bottom. I fish small inland lakes in northern Michigan.

Ought this Bubba Blade 4 blade interchangeable knife set
Got to use it a few “too few” times this season and I’ll share my opinion
1 The case is really nice . Looks to be pretty rugged , tasteful and the form fit moulded blade holders hold blades securely by form fit and an added magnet.
It also has a mesh pouch to store things like sharpeners, knife glove etc

2 handles interchange blades very safely and easily. And they have a comfortable ergo fit. The handle material is “grippy” even wet

3 The blade selection is interesting.
What I’d hoped for is interchangeable blades for filleting fish from big Walleye thru bluegill
What is contained is a 7” taper flex ( my fav), an 8” ultra flex, A 9 inch stiff and a 9 inch serrated flex
This kit will literally fillet a mess of crappie , then turn around and process an elk.

4 the blades are very sharp and seem to hretain an edge pretty good . With the 7” flex taper , I’ve cleaned probly 35 fish including a couple dozen nice walleye , a coho my buddy got and a mess of crappie
Didn’t really need sharpened. But I did give it a couple swipes on the crock stick and super sharp.
The flexibility or lack thereof is appropriate for each blade. The tapered fled has ideal flexibility for most of my filleting . The ultra flex scoops out wallet cheeks really well . This blade would be great for cleaning a mess of perch

5 clean up is a snap. I’ve dunked mine in cooler water and wiped it off with a paper towel

Summary, I like this set a lot. Very convenient and cheaper than buying 4 individual knives. The case make transportability a snap.
It’s got blade variety that can fill just about any fish cleaning situation I’ll likely ever encounter
AND they send a Bubba sticker to slap on the side of the tackle box or took box
PS. I sometimes still reach for my ole wood handled rapala fillet knife .That things cleaned hundreds of fish, peeled hundreds of pounds of potato’s , chopped onions , cut up chickens , sliced hundreds of pounds of jerky
. I’ll never part with it
Ought this Bubba Blade 4 blade interchangeable kni... (show quote)

Bubba blade will cut your cleaning time in half. Have fillet dozens of gills at one time and never ran out of battery.

I am offended by this, "invasive" classification. Northern pike are game fish and some of us fish for them. You hook a pike 30" or over and that is big time fun. Pike and musky is my goal. Catching other fish is a bonus.

California gets everything wrong. Pike are a great game fish and very tasty.
