Figured I’d make 2 posts rather than cram a huge long winded story into one post. Post about our trip next. Here is the completed boat. I’ve had it in and out of the water it operates better than I could’ve hoped. Deck I built is plenty stable for the wife to cast from. (No need for outriggers!). It pulls and launches super easy with the wife’s SUV. Gas motor started first pull and ran like new. Electric motors run all day and move you pretty well. I spend a decent time fishing drinking water reservoirs and they are electric only.

Outstanding job J, and glad it worked out without outriggers. Too much hassle. Now we need some fish slobbering pictures.

You did a really nice job there J. I believe that’s the same motor I have on my boat as a kicker. Sweet little motors. Congrats and good luck with it…🐟on

The motor is really nice, haven’t seen or heard a bad review. All in on the whole setup with upgrades I’m still just under $2,000.00. Hope I can do Ray proud and catch some fish!

If it’s like mine, the transmission and throttle are all in the twist grip which makes it really easy to maneuver especially in tight corridors…🐟on

Looks real good! I need the motivation to get a new deck on mine, you may have just sparked that. Thank you.
